We teach all courses in a traditional classroom and, simultaneously, in a virtual classroom over the Internet using WebEx technologies. If you cannot join us in the traditional classroom, you can participate in the class from the comfort of your computer at home, work, or on the road. You can see the faculty and every slide or video, hear every word spoken by the faculty and students, observe mathematical or verbal problems solved in real time on the “white board”, and ask questions when you wish. If you miss a class, you can access the digital video recording of the class on the following day over the Internet.

To participate, all you need is a personal computer and access to the Internet. Students communicate with the instructor by microphone (Voice over Internet Protocol - VoIP) or by Instant Messaging. You do not need a microphone or a web cam to participate. Access to a high-speed connection such as DSL or cable will enhance your learning experience, but access via a stable, static-free dial-up (analog telephone modem) will still allow you to receive the audio, video, slides, and all other learning materials.

"My back is STILL really bothering me so I will be missing class again tonight. Sitting for long periods of time in the classroom just isn't an option for me yet. The good thing is that I will be able to spend the weekend and Monday viewing recordings and catching up... once again. I am so glad I have access to the recordings!"

Most participants access our virtual classrooms with little or no difficulty, especially if their computer is less than three years old. To view a brief demonstration of how students access our courses, please visit PrepSuccess Recording. Details provided in this recording are available in the pdf file Procedures to Attend PrepSuccess Courses via the Internet which you can print and make notes on as you view the recording.
To ensure you can hear and see the instructor, you must join us in a Practice Class over the Internet prior to the first day of your prep course. After you register and pay for a course, you will receive an electronic mail file titled Course Requirements that contains the date and time of the Practice Class. We usually meet online at 6:00 pm Eastern Time on the Wednesday night just prior to the start of a prep course. We will send a password to you that will allow you to access the class. A different password will be sent to access the actual prep course. The practice class is mandatory for online students. If you miss the scheduled practice class, you will not receive the password to access your prep course.
