Over 3,000 working adults and students have attended PrepSuccess™ entrance exam prep courses and tutoring sessions. Participants to our courses have significantly increased their official scores by attending all classes and completing all assignments. We teach each course in traditional classrooms located in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill region of North Carolina and simultaneously broadcast the instruction over the Internet using WebEx so that students located beyond commuting distance can see, hear, and participate in every classroom activity. We also digitally record each course so that students can access each class over the Internet and experience everything that occurred in class. For more information on our web cast options, please visit Web Based Learning.

We invite you to attend the first 90 minutes of a class so that
you can experience the PrepSuccess™ learning process as well as speak with the faculty and current students. We request that you not ask technical questions regarding the exam or test problems but rather sit back and experience the process. To schedule
a visit, view the dates and times of classes in the table located at the bottom of this page and call 919-791-0810 to coordinate. Travel Guidance is provided to each course in the table, so ensure you print a copy of the directions prior to leaving for the class.

The SAT PREP Course consists of 25 hours of classroom instructions in Math, Critical Reading and Writing. Math is covered during the first half of each class and writing / reading is covered in the 2nd half. Students complete two practice SAT tests and two essays outside of the class. A table containing a schedule of upcoming courses is provided at the bottom of this page. Students who do not have transportation should bring a snack or meal for lunch.
Math: Math content makes up roughly half of the course, including a comprehensive review of the major concepts tested on the SAT: arithmetic, algebra, word problems, geometry, and data analysis. Strategies and shortcuts for dealing with specific types of math questions are also covered.
Critical Reading: This part of the course covers the knowledge and strategies needed for sentence completion questions and those based on reading passages. Strategies for reading quickly and efficiently are emphasized, and exercises are provided to build vocabulary, an important asset for the SAT.
Writing: Two student essays are evaluated during the course, and students receive instruction on planning and executing essays within the short time allotted on the test. A comprehensive grammar review is included, and strategies for answering grammar questions are also covered.
The registration fee does not include the cost of the textbooks (about $35 total) which students purchase before the first day of class.

Fees:
Notice: Classes for 2011 are now closed. For 2012, PrepSuccess has slashed registration fees to levels last offered in 2007. While our country is embroiled in these difficult economic times, enjoy savings of $126 off course fees that were charged in 2011.
Classroom: The Early Bird fee for the course is $420 if paid 30 days prior to the first class, a savings of more than $400 over the cost of other prep companies. Fees are $4624 thereafter until 15 days prior to the first class at which time the fee increases to $504.
Live Online and Recordings:
If you are not able to commute to our physical classrooms in the RTP region of North Carolina, or if you believe you may travel or have scheduling conflicts during a course, select the Live Online & Recordings option during registration and pay an additional $100. After you click the ENROLL icon, change the option "How do you wish to attend?" from "Classroom (No Additional Fee)" to "Live Online and Recordings (+$100)".
This option allows you to attend the physical classroom when you wish, but also provides you with access to the Virtual Classroom (live over the internet as the class is taught) and all streaming video recordings of the course.
Each class is broken into two recordings which may be accessed by noon on the day following a class. Access to recordings is provided for up to 14 days upon completion of a course. If you do not purchase this option during your initial registration, you may do so afterwards for $150 by selecting $150 Fee .
