Lyle J. Burnham, MS is a GMAT and GRE PREP instructor. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1980. After graduation, he served as a USMC helicopter pilot and held several training officer positions. In addition to his time flying helicopters, he also served as a flight instructor at the U.S. Naval Flight School. During that time, he earned a Masters of Science in Computer Science from Texas A & M University. After 10 years in the military, Lyle entered the business world and held several operational and IT positions. For the last four years he has managed a very successful tutoring business, which includes SAT preparation and math instruction.

David P. Clapsadl, JD is a LSAT PREP instructor. Mr. Clapsadl earned a Juris Doctor in May 2007 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He previously completed his undergraduate studies at North Carolina State University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in Political Science and was a member of Sigma Iota Rho and Pi Sigma Alpha honor societies. Mr. Clapsadl is employed with a law firm in Rocky Mount, North Carolina and will teach courses in that region of the state. |

John S. Iiames, BS, MS, PhD is a GMAT PREP instructor. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Management from Virginia Tech University, a Master of Science in Remote Sensing/GIS at North Carolina State University, and a Doctorate in Geospatial Science from the University of New Hampshire. He is employed as a Research Biologist in the Research Triangle and serves as an Adjunct Professor at North Carolina State University. John is also the Assistant Director of the Remote Sensing Applications Division within the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, and has authored a book chapter and published articles in a number of peer-reviewed journals. He has previously worked as a forest management consultant, property land surveyor, and full-time minister. John is married and has two boys who attend Broughton High School in Raleigh, NC. |

Darrell J. Kain, BS is a standardized test preparation guru who has helped numerous students and adult learners increase their SAT and GRE scores respectively. He earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering in 1992 from West Point, where he earned Dean’s List honors and excelled in track and field. His extensive training background includes preparing and delivering training in military, academic, business, non-profit, and ministry settings. Darrell is the founder and President of Coach Kain, LLC a management consultant firm that teaches leadership and communication skills to managers and teams. Darrell has lived in the Raleigh-Durham area since 1997 and has a wonderful wife and two children. |

Tessa Lee, BA, is a LSAT Prep instructor. She earned her undergraduate degree in international studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in December 2006. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors, is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and scored the 95th percentile on the LSAT. A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, she speaks Spanish fluently and recently taught school in Argentina. While she is applying to and considering graduate programs, she is working for the Department of Social Services in a Family Violence Prevention Program. |

Marti Maguire, MA, is a GRE and SAT PREP instructor. Her extensive experience with test preparation began in 1997, when she started teaching SAT courses for a national test prep company. She also developed and taught SAT and ACT courses for a private company in Florida before coming to PrepSuccess where she developed the SAT PREP curriculum. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English at the University of Florida in 1994, with a minor in Spanish. She taught journalism and writing at the high school level for several years before moving to North Carolina to pursue a master’s degree in journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. She earned that degree in 2004, and has since worked as a reporter and teacher in the Triangle. |

Charlotte Peters, PhD Candidate is a GMAT and SAT PREP instructor. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry with minors in Botany and Genetics from NC State University. She has completed three years of graduate work towards her PhD in Genetics and has taught and tutored undergraduate and graduate-level students. She brings a love of teaching that helps her be patient and persistent with students. She utilizes a variety of learning approaches in the classroom that will help you understand the material you must learn to succeed on the exam. |

Rebecca M. Doty, BA, CPA is a CPA PREP Tutor. Ms. Doty earned a Baccalaureate of Arts in Accounting in 1978 from the University of Tennessee. She worked for several years for the Tennessee Valley Authority as a Budget Office and passed the Certified Professional Accountant Exam in North Carolina (License 14726) . She worked in all phases of accounting before accepting a position with a governmental agency located in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina where she has worked the past 15 years. She has taught senior level accounting courses at a local college and can help you pass the CPA exam. |

Elwood Peters, MA is a GRE VERBAL PREP instructor who brings over ten years of experience teaching English. He completed his Master of School Administration at North Carolina State University and his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Florida where he graduated Cum Laude in Education. He currently works as an Outreach Coordinator in the Wake County Public School System. He brings an interactive style of learning into the classroom as he guides adult students into the quest to expand their vocabulary and to apply it in the many, unusual questions presented in the GRE. |

Mary P. Wood, BS is Program Manager for PrepSuccess. She holds an undergraduate degree in English from East Carolina University, and taught English and journalism at the high school level. Mary also has a background in training and administrative support. She functions as the primary contact person for our students and potential students, maintains our databases and in-house records, and schedules our courses. |

Fred H. Sexton, BS is VICE PRESIDENT and Director of Operations of PrepSuccess. He has an undergraduate Business Administration degree from N.C. State University and serves as the backbone of operational support to faculty and students. Fred provides the training, mentoring, and coaching required by our students and faculty to use WebEx Distance Learning Systems to participate in Live Online classes and streaming video recordings. |

Frederick W. Sexton, MPH, CRmT II is PRESIDENT and General Manager of PrepSuccess. He also serves as a GRE and GMAT PREP instructor. He has an undergraduate degree from N.C. State University, a graduate degree in health policy and administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and 30 years of experience in public and private companies. He opened Association and Conference Management of North Carolina in January 2000 and incorporated and changed the name to PrepSuccess, LLC in January 2006. PrepSuccess™ is a registered trademark of the process in which we provide training and mentoring services. Mr. Sexton is Preceptor and Faculty Associate with the Department of Health Policy and Administration, School of Public Health, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is the former President of the National Remotivation Therapy Organization, Inc and has written six books, published 23 articles and presented over 300 workshops at national, state and local conferences. He is a veteran with 34 years of military service, retiring from the Army Reserve as a Brigade Command Sergeant Major. He provides a motivating, interactive learning environment for adult learners and supports the learning needs of individual students and organizations. |
